These are pictures of the US Army's Nike Hercules Guided Missile Direct Support 30th Ordnance Detachment serving in South Korea 1960 -1962.
Boot Camp at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.
Nike Hercules Missile Training at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama.
The missile firings in South Korea were at Sea Range, Site 5 - Camp Holiday near a village called Taechon-ne.
Also there are photos of Site 6 - Echo Hill, Inchon Bay and Waterfront, the Yellow Sea, Yong Dong Po Train Station, the Bathhouse at Ducksan, Osan Gate, Chonam, Ascom City, Taechon-ne, Kunsan, Kunsan Ferry, Seoul, White Tiger Mountain Shrine, Kimji, Kumsan-sa Temples and the Han River.
Return to the US via Japan and Honolulu, Hawaii.

I was stationed at b btry 44 arty in korea from 70 to 71. Have some pics if you would like to see them.
